Rest, Sleep and Relaxation

Our systems are designed to recharge and repair and regenerate themselves each and every night while we sleep, and getting enough sleep is absolutely essential. However getting enough shut eye and rest is often something that many people either disregard or forget about when it comes to caring for their health.

We can eat the best food on the planet, drink the purest water, get plenty of exercise, good amounts of healthy sun exposure and plenty of fresh, clean air to breathe - but if we allow ourselves to go for any length of time without getting adequate rest and sleep, our health will fail regardless.

Regularly taking (or even making if necessary) the time to relax and unwind from the stresses of life is another really important step that needs to be taken by everyone these days, but doing so is particularly crucial for anyone who is dealing with any kind of chronic health problem.
