Pure Wellness

This website is the result of lengthy and ongoing research, and is devoted to the investigation of the underlying reasons why we get sick with chronic illness, and the exploration of wholesome, holistic, whole body approaches that can help us maintain our good health and heal naturally from chronic degenerative disease.

Life Out Of Balance

Our physical bodies are intricately connected with our minds and thoughts, and with our hearts and emotions, as well as with the subtler, more etheric forces which animate and inform our beings. Since all life on Earth is clearly interconnected, interdependent and intertwined, as we consider the state of our collective health as a species, we must simultaneously take into account the state of the planet, as there is ample evidence that the increasing incidence of chronic illness occurring these days within mankind is directly connected to what's happening with the soil, air and water that comprises our environment.

When we succumb to and suffer from chronic ill health, by and large this happens not so much (as we have led to believe) because we have been attacked from without by hostile, foreign invaders, but rather because our bodies are responding in a very natural way, physiologically, biochemically and energetically, to a state of imbalance that has arisen within us.

When we experience symptoms of chronic illness, it's important for us to understand that our symptoms are actually powerful signals or indicators of imbalances which are being manifested by our bodies. Symptoms of chronic ill health are in fact neon signs, and are our body's way of letting us know something is out of order, while also being indicative of the fact that our body is attempting, through its natural design, to restore its innate state of balance or homeostasis.

Managing Disease or Truly Healing From It?

Many people today are becoming aware that the conventional allopathic approach to dealing with chronic disease generally focuses on the suppression of disease symptoms through the use of things like pharmaceutical drugs, surgery and radiation. The ultimate failing of these methods is that they aren't actually meant to address or resolve any of the real, underlying reasons – the root causes – that lie beneath and behind chronic ill health in the first place. Unfortunately, the truth is that today's modern medical paradigm is a profit based system that is essentially designed to treat symptoms and manage chronic diseases. It's simply not geared toward discovering, addressing or resolving the fundamental, intrinsic causes of those symptoms in order to affect true healing within the body so as to achieve a real and lasting cure for these illnesses.

Holistic, naturopathic approaches to health and healing, on the other hand, are those that seek to discover, and then address, the actual roots of the essential, primary, root causes of chronic illness, and then take steps to resolve them in ways that help to restore inner balance so as to support and encourage the body's own innate wisdom and ability to heal itself.

An Epidemic of Chronic Ill Health

Chronic illnesses such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, Alzheimer's, respiratory, liver, kidney and digestive diseases, and many others, are rampant in today's society.

Virtually everyone's life is being affected by this epidemic these days, either directly or indirectly. If you're not suffering from some chronic health challenges yourself, chances are that you know someone who is, whether they be a family member, loved one, friend, coworker or acquaintance.

Why are so many people getting so sick in our modern society? What are the underlying causes of this epidemic? And what are the most effective natural, holistic approaches we can take to help ourselves heal from chronic degenerative disease?

Pure Wellness is an exploration into these questions, and outlines a broader perspective on this subject, including concrete suggestions for practical and effective steps people can take to naturally maintain their good health, or to regain their health if they are dealing with chronic illness.

The Root Cause of Degenerative Disease

All chronic disease is rooted in imbalances that arise within the body. These imbalances in turn cause stagnation, congestion and blockages that prevent the body from functioning the way it was designed to, and over the long term, cause us to become vulnerable to degenerative illness.

Ultimately, the most efficacious paths that lead to healing from chronic illness are those holistic approaches that directly address these imbalances and facilitate a restoration of our body's inborn equilibrium or homeostasis.

As we address the fundamental reasons why disease has arisen in the first place, we begin to actively support, allow and encourage the body’s own innate healing wisdom so that we can start the process healing naturally, from the inside out.

Our Bodies are Naturally Designed to Heal

The most important thing we must begin to understand when it comes to our health is that our human bodies are naturally designed to heal themselves. And yet many, many people in this day and age who are chronically unwell are finding it extremely challenging to heal and regain their health by following conventional allopathic approaches. That's because these allopathic methods generally suppress and sabotage, rather than supporting, encouraging and allowing the body's own inborn ability to regenerate, restore and heal itself.

Natural Paths to Health and Healing

Natural paths to health and healing are holistic, whole-body approaches to wellness that support the body’s fundamental ability to repair and rejuvenate itself by helping to restore inner balance, harmony and homeostasis. As equilibrium is restored, the coherent, synchronous ebbing and flowing of our body’s inner tides is reestablished which fosters the dissolution of blockages, allowing true and lasting healing to occur.
